To address the diverse, challenging, and growing demands for professional managers in both developing and developed nations, the Department of Management Studies was established in 2001 as an exclusive and separate entity within the college.
The objective of the department is to provide management education and foster the development of effective and efficient business managers. This is achieved through adherence to the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical conduct, cultivating a sense of individual responsibility, and collectively promoting an environment of honour, trust, and excellence.
To develop management professionals as socially responsible leaders who are capable of excelling both in entrepreneurship as well as in the business arena with an ability to innovate in the global context

Department was started in the year 2007-2008 with an intake of 60.
Post Graduate (Structural Engineering) started in the year of 2013-14 with the intake of 18
One Patent filed in the year 2014.
The advisory committee has been formed to monitor and improve the academic quality and to guide various activities of the department in the year 2014-15.
“MOUs signed with National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), GRUNDFOS Pumps, SANVIR Associates, LAND COORDINATES Technology, CREDAI, ECO CARE, HUBERT ENVIRO, CSIR-SERC, Hi-Tech Concrete solutions and KGCL.
All laboratories are approved by DSIR.
