Easwari Engineering College (Autonomous), a part of the SRM Group of Institutions, Chennai Ramapuram, was established in the academic year 1996–1997 with a vision to provide quality technical education and foster research, innovation, and global competence. Over the past 28 years, the institution has evolved into a top-ranked NIRF institution, offering 15 undergraduate and 7 postgraduate programs across various disciplines.

The college is known for its strong industry-academia collaborations and is home to more than 15 Centres of Excellence, facilitating research and technological advancements. With a robust placement record, the institution has achieved a highest placement package of ₹50 lakh and maintains a 98% placement rate, reflecting its commitment to student career development.

Easwari Engineering College emphasizes interdisciplinary learning, offering students the opportunity to pursue specializations with minors and honours. The curriculum is enriched with foreign language courses to enhance global mobility and professional competence. To practice total quality management and ensure student – centered teaching – learning processes
To ensure that all the students admitted in this Institute are qualified in the university examinations.
To provide placement for all students who have opted by providing soft skills, technical aptitude training and domain knowledge.
To improve the leadership ability of the students, thereby grooming them as successful entrepreneurs.
To conduct programs on personality development, add-on skills, entrepreneurship, ethics, cocurricular and extra-curricular events on regular basis for student’s development
To ink more MOUs with leading Industries for better Institute – Industry Interaction, Student activities, Placements, Projects, InPlant Training and Technology transfer on current topics
To maintain good relationship with Management, Faculty and Students for their prospective growth and for establishing a congenial academic environment in the college
