Cancer benefits are events that people put on in order to raise money and awareness for the people who are fighting the battle of cancer. They are very powerful things that bring people from all over together for a common cause. One such splendid and spectacular event of every year is “MISSION CRUSADER” with a huge fanfare. Fighting cancer is the hardest and most prolonged battle. Apart from the health consequences, there’s stress, psychological impact, and distress that cancer brings around. It can be emotionally exhausting to fight this disease and patients need a lot of courage and positivity to keep going…
Last year, ₹1.75 lakhs were donated to support children battling cancer through “MISSION CRUSADER.” Dr. R. Shivakumar, Chairman of SRM Ramapuram and Trichy Campus, actively participated, contributing ₹1 lakh personally. In total, ₹3.75 lakhs were donated to the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children for this noble cause.
