About Rotaract club

The Rotaract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College is a 26-year-old club with a rich history of hosting some of the best events and nurturing exceptional leaders in Rotaract District 3234. The club focuses on community and societal activities, blending creativity, fun, and impactful service. We strive to carry out activities that benefit the community and society in the most innovative and creative ways.
During the tenure of 2004-2005, the club earned a Rotary International Award. Having completed over 1,000 projects in the last 11 years, our club ranks among the top 5 college-based clubs in our district, out of 165 clubs.

Key avenues of Rotaract include:

1. Community Services: Dedicated to giving back to society through meaningful initiatives.

2. Professional Services: Focused on providing intellectually enriching opportunities.

3. International Services: Organizing collaborative events with other Rotaract clubs to foster global connections and interpersonal growth.

4. Sports and Culturals: Cultivating students’ sportsmanship and artistic talents for broader exposure.

The club’s efforts have been recognized with the prestigious Presidential Citation signed by Ian H.S. Riseley, President of Rotary International, for impactful projects aligning with Rotary’s areas of focus.

VISION

Our vision as a college Rotaract club is to create a positive impact in our local and global communities by empowering young leaders to take action and make a difference. We believe that by empowering young leaders to take action, we can create a brighter and more equitable future for all. We are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment, where members can learn, grow, and make meaningful connections while making a difference in the world. 

Our mission is to inspire and develop young leaders who are committed to service, professionalism, and ethical leadership. We strive to engage with our local community through service projects, fundraising events, and volunteer opportunities, while also collaborating with other Rotaract clubs around the world to make a global impact. We believe that by working together, we can create a brighter future for everyone.

MISSION

ARAM

ARAM has been a longstanding event dedicated to giving back to the community and those in need. Year after year, it rallies support and conducts various engaging events to raise funds for charity. It has been keen on extending support towards children with cleft and palate lip—a condition that not only affects their physical appearance but also challenges their health and well-being. Through ARAM’s unwavering commitment, these children receive the necessary resources and assistance to undergo corrective surgeries, enabling them to lead healthier and more fulfilling lives.

We are proud to announce that our club has funded over 40 cleft lip correction surgeries, providing life-changing medical interventions for children in need. Through our fundraising efforts and dedication to service, we have been able to make a significant impact on the lives of individuals and families affected by this condition. Our commitment to improving access to healthcare and creating a more equitable world drives us to continue supporting this cause. We are grateful to our members, donors, and partners for their support in making this accomplishment possible and look forward to continuing to make a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
