The Youth Red Cross unit of Easwari Engineering College took a proactive stance in combating drug addiction by organizing a special event named RRR (Rehab Return Rejoice) with the overarching goal of raising awareness about the perils of drug addiction and its detrimental impact on individuals’ lives. This event, held under the motto ‘Awareness of drug addiction and impact on life,’ aimed to educate and inspire students to make informed choices and steer clear of substance abuse.
The event featured captivating performances by Youth Red Cross volunteers, who showcased their talent through mime and skit performances centered around drug awareness. These creative presentations effectively conveyed the message of the dangers associated with substance abuse in a thought-provoking manner, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
Furthermore, the outreach efforts extended beyond the college premises, as the volunteers also performed at Meenakshi Ammal Global School, where their performances were met with appreciation from the students.
