PEO1: Graduates will have fundamental and broad knowledge in Electrical Sciences relating to industrial applications and research to design, analyze and synthesize information from various sources and think differently to provide solutions to their discipline.

PEO2: Graduates will become entrepreneurs, employees of reputed organizations, pursue higher studies and research for developing advanced skills in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

PEO3:Graduates will exhibit technical and intellectual competency and will be amenable for life-long learning.

PEO4: Graduates will demonstrate technical knowledge and ethical values for professional development to meet the societal needs.

PEO5: Graduates will be able to work in multi-disciplinary environment by providing solutions to real time problems.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

PO4: Conduct investigations of complex problems: Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

PO5: Modern tool usage: Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.

PO6: The engineer and society: Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

PO7: Environment and sustainability: Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

PO8: Ethics: Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

PO9: Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

PO10: Communication: Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

PO11: Project management and finance: Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

PO12: Life-long learning: Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

PSO1: Use logical and technical skills to model, simulate and analyze electrical components and systems

PSO2: Integrate the knowledge of fundamental electronics, power electronics and embedded systems for the controllability, reliability and sustainability of electrical systems.

PSO3: Contribute for the development of smart power grid and integrating green energy on it to meet the increasing demand of the society.

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

PO1: Conduct independent research and development activities to address real-world problems in the field of embedded systems. Able to capable of identifying issues, formulating hypotheses, and implementing solutions effectively.

PO2: Demonstrate proficiency in writing comprehensive technical reports and presenting their findings in a clear and concise manner. Able to effectively communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

PO3: Exhibit a high level of expertise in their specialized area within embedded systems technology. Their mastery should surpass the requirements expected at the undergraduate level, showcasing advanced knowledge and skills in the field.

PO4: Students will possess the capability to design and develop embedded system automation solutions using dedicated integrated circuits (ICs). These solutions will incorporate computational, networking, and control capabilities to address diverse application requirements effectively.

PO5: Graduates will have proficiency in utilizing professional software languages, standard modeling and analysis tools, and commercial packages relevant to embedded systems. They should be adept at implementing communication protocols and leveraging computational platforms for system analysis and design in the context of automation.

PO6: Equipped to engage in research activities focused on industrial problems or the development of innovative smart systems with automation as consumer products. They should demonstrate competence in project management and financial aspects, while also considering socio-economic values in their endeavors.

PSO1: Foundation of Computer System: Ability to analyze the principles and working of hardware and software aspects of computer systems

PSO2: Foundations of Software Development: Ability to design software systems and products of varying complexity using a broad range of programming language and open source platforms. Students will possess the skill to apply design concepts for mechanical structures and systems.

PSO3: Impact of Computing: An ability to analyze the impact of computing on individuals, organizations, and society.

PSO4: Applications of Computing and Research ability: Ability to apply computing and research skill to identify research gaps and hence to provide solution to new ideas and innovations
