The Department of Management Studies has organized an event named “Angadi 2020” on 21st February 2020 on the college campus. The main objective of this event is to bring out the hidden marketing strategies and also to understand the importance of entrepreneurship skills. The coordinator of the programme has made wide arrangements informing 18 teams comprising of first-year MBA students and one faculty is allotted for each team to oversee the arrangements. Around 18 stalls were put in the event and students displayed a variety of articles such as fancy items, game show, instant photography, candy shop, fitness challenges and dress materials. The event was inaugurated by the Principal of the college Dr.R.S.Kumar who was accompanied by Vice-Principal Administration & Vice-Principal Academics along with the HODs of other departments. The Head of the Department Dr.Saikumari.V along with the coordinator for the event Mr.S.Purushothaman briefed the principal and other dignitaries about the arrangements made and also the games and other stalls Installed by the students. There was an overwhelming response from the students of the college and also the faculty members for this event. In the evening the lucky draw was conducted by one team and the winner was awarded prize money of Rs 500 along with a gift voucher. At the end of the day the internal committee evaluated the Investment, the total number of sales and profit of each stall and the final winner is announced. The event came to an end with the appreciation of HOD to all the students for the active participation and also the volunteers for the efforts in making the event a grand success.
