The ICI Student Chapter of EEC organized a skill development program “Concrete Mix Proportioning” on 1st March 2024, Friday 9:30 am – 2:00 pm. Er. Subash Kandasamy, Technical Manager – Technical Customer Solutions, Ultratech Cement Ltd., From various polytechnical college students, has participated and shown their encouragement towards this program. The training started with the important facts about the properties of materials, the level of grade that should be used in any field, and the grade of concrete. Discussion about the mix design, strength of concrete, and different types of concrete mix like how the ratio of cement should be added. This section gives a clear picture to the audience with a lot of live examples. Lab visits were also happened with all the students to all the labs in this college after this section had completed.The resource person gave some introduction about concrete in started as a brief Explanation of how to prepare a concrete mix ratio with the correct quantity of materials.Lab visits was happened with the students .After this program is completed, a group picture was taken with the resource person and the participating students and staff
