“Summer Build Fest: Unboxed ‘26” was a 1-day immersive and fast-paced application building event organized by F.A.B.R.I.C. The event was strategically designed to bridge the gap between theoretical system designing concepts and practical trade-offs by reverse-engineering any one of the three assigned products with few tweaks and requirements to replicate real life industrial client requirement changes.
Chief Guest
The event was graced by the presence of Mr. MadhukarRanganathan, a seasoned Full Stack Developer with over 8 years of industry experience. He shared valuable insights into modern software development practices and industry standards.
Event Background
This event served as a direct extension of the “Summer Build Fest: OOP Kingdom”, an open-source online event held throughout June. While the previous fest focused on foundational Object-Oriented Programming and version control, Unboxed ’26 challenged participants to apply those skills to reverse-engineering complex, real-world systems.
The primary vision was to engage participants’ product thinking, system design, and analytical skills by challenging them to reverse engineer the core functionality behind well-known software products.

Conclusion
The event successfully concluded with the recognition of our talented participants. A prize amount of 1000 INR was awarded to each of the three winning teams, and certificates of Winning were presented to the winners by our Principal.
