Youth Red Cross (YRC) of Easwari Engineering College visited the Institute of Child Health and Hospital for Children (ICH), Egmore, on September 22, 2024. The visit aimed to bring joy and happiness to the children undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The YRC team spent the day playing with the children, talking to them, and engaging them in creative activities. The team also celebrated the birthday of one of the children, making the day extra special for everyone present. Crayons and coloring sheets were distributed to the children, and the YRC volunteers joined them in coloring, creating a fun and interactive atmosphere.
This event allowed the children to momentarily escape from the hospital environment and enjoy themselves, providing a much-needed emotional uplift. The visit brought smiles to the children’s faces and fostered a sense of joy and connection. The YRC team succeeded in making the children feel cared for, leaving a lasting impact on both the children and the volunteers.
