The Department of Mechanical Engineering, Easwari Engineering College, hosted 54 students from SAN Academy, Tambaram on 11 July 2025 for a one-day Public Speaking Workshop and Career Guidance Program. The initiative aimed to enhance students’ communication skills, build confidence, and provide early exposure to engineering education and career opportunities. The program began with a Public Speaking Workshop designed to help students overcome stage fear, improve body language, and communicate effectively. Through interactive activities, group exercises, and individual presentations, students actively participated and gained confidence in public speaking. This was followed by a Career Guidance session delivered by Dr. S. Sathiyamoorthy, Head of the Department, and Dr. M. Vetrivel Sezhian, Professor. The speakers shared insights into emerging engineering fields, career pathways, and essential skills required for future success, helping students make informed academic and career decisions.
