The celebrations then took a lively turn with the grand Elephant Entrance creating an atmosphere of excitement and grandeur. This was followed by Laasya’s classical dance performance which brought elegance and tradition to the stage through expressive movements.
Adding warm, personal flair to the festivities, Dr. Majila, HOD of the Mathematics Department, presented a special dance performance, much to the audience’s delight.
The arrival of Maaveli, accompanied by the energetic rhythms of Chendamelam, marked one of the most anticipated moments of the celebrations. The grandeur continued with the Maaveli and Pookavadi performances, bringing together iconic elements of Onam in a lively traditional display.
The atmosphere then transformed with an energetic Flash Mob which drew the audience into the celebration with its infectious choreography and electrifying energy. Keeping the essence of Kerala’s cultural heritage alive, the event continued with a captivating Kathakali performance that showcased the art form’s distinctive expressions, movements, and visual splendour.
The celebrations then welcomed the stars of Mr. Bhaarath – Bhaarath, Niranjan, and Sibi Chakravarthy. An announcement video was presented, followed by a screening of their song. Their arrival sparked a wave of excitement through the crowd, as the stars interacted with the audience and added to the festive spirit. The segment concluded with their felicitation by the Principal Ma’am.
Adding a theatrical flair to the festivities, Dions Crew, Easwari’s official theatre club, delivered an engaging performance that kept the audience entertained.

Their performance to the song Adada sent a fresh wave of excitement through the crowd, with students cheering and enjoying the opportunity to see the team perform live. The segment concluded with the Principal felicitating the team.
The Onam energy reached its peak with the DJ segment by DJ Lash transforming the OAT into a lively dance floor. Running alongside the DJ segment, there was a final Pookavadi performance adding one last dose of traditional charm to the celebrations.
Adding to the festive experience throughout the event, the Onam-themed photobooth and Maaveli cut-out gave students and staff the perfect spot to pause, pose in their vibrant traditional attire, and capture memories from the day.
The celebrations were punctuated by colour-bomb SFX, sending bursts of colour through the air and turning the atmosphere into a magnificent spectacle of light, colour, and celebration. Finally, the event concluded with the Vote of Thanks.
Overall, the Onam celebration was a grand success, bringing the campus together in a joyous celebration of tradition, culture, and togetherness.
