On 12th September 2024, the Department of Management organized an Expert Talk on the title “Leadership in Project Management” as part of the induction program for first year MBA students. The guest invited for the session was by Ms. Revathy, Manager of the R&D PMO at Apollo Tyres. The guest shared the importance of leadership skills in effectively managing the projects and also shared the real-life examples from Apollo Tyres, Ms. Revathy highlighted the significance of setting clear goals, fostering team collaboration, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. Her insights provided students with a strong foundation for understanding how leadership drives project success and innovation within an organization.
The expert talk concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged with Ms. Revathy, seeking clarity on various leadership and project management challenges.
