The Rotaract Club of SRM Easwari Engineering College hosted its annual flagship event, “LA SMASH LIGA,” a badminton tournament, on 6th October 2024 at Yumi Sports Center, Gerugambakkam. The event began with women’s singles, followed by mixed doubles, men’s singles, and men’s doubles, where players showcased exceptional skill, teamwork, and strategy. Winners and runners were awarded trophies and certificates.
As an annual project, the funds raised from this event go toward supporting the Aram Project, reinforcing the club’s commitment to community service. The event’s success was a testament to the dedication of the office bearers, who took on roles as linemen, referees, and coordinators to ensure fair play and smooth execution. The tournament concluded with a photo session, celebrating sportsmanship, unity, and collective effort.
