Introduction to IoT and Its Applications
On 7th October 2025, the IoT with Arduino Workshop was successfully conducted at Madurai Kamaraj University, engaging 70 students keen to explore Internet of Things technology.
Dr. J. Ramya, HOD/MCA, and Dr. S. Veerapandi, AP/MCA, guided participants through hands-on sessions on Arduino microcontrollers, sensor integration, and wireless communication.
Students Tarunmuthu CS and Thulasiram P V demonstrated a real-time Intruder Detection System (IoT project).
The event empowered students with foundational knowledge to create smart, connected devices and inspired future technology-driven opportunities.

On 08th October 2025, the Department of MCA, Easwari Engineering College, conducted a hands-on session on “Introduction to IoT and Its Applications” at Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi. The session introduced participants to IoT concepts, architecture layers, and enabling technologies such as sensors, connectivity, and cloud platforms. Through practical demonstrations using ESP32 boards and Blynk applications, attendees learned how IoT devices collect, transmit, and analyze data for real-world applications. The event enhanced students’ understanding of IoT’s role in smart industries, healthcare, and sustainable solutions.
