INAUGURATION OF SOCIETY OF ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONICS ENGINEERS
The Society of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SEEE) for the year 2019-20 was inaugurated at TRP auditorium, Easwari Engineering College, on 16/09/2019, Monday. Dr. E. Kaliappan, Prof and Head, EEE Department, welcomed the gathering and he gave enthusiastic speech to students. Mrs.D.Chandrakala, Assistant Professor has introduced new office Bearers. Annual report on the SEEE chapter for the academic year 2018-19 and activity plan for the academic year 2019-20 was presented by the President of SEEE.
Er.N.Sathiyamoorthy has issued the badge to the office Bearers. Mr.K.V.Thilagar, Assistant Professor gave introduction about the chief guest. Following that Er.Sathiyamoorthy, Executive engineer, North Chennai Thermal Power Station -1, he spoke about the need for more power generation to meet the demand. He urged the student community conduct research to explore smart ways to increase power generation and reduce the power consumption. He also explained about various job opportunities in TNEB.
Principal Dr.R.S.Kumar congratulated all the students for their excellent academic performance during academic year 2018-19 and briefed about the scope of EV Vehicle and Electrical Engineers in all fields. He gave introduction about PRIDE and he motivated students to approach industrial problems with their innovative solutions. Director General has given a motivational speech and encouraged the students to continue the same during forthcoming semesters. Vote of Thank was given by vice president of SEEE
