The Campus Life Team (Tenure 2026 – 2027) of Easwari Engineering College successfully organised Friendship Day 2026, celebrating the bond between friends by encouraging memorable interactions between students. Various engaging activities and interactive booths were set up across the campus, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere at college.
A Physical Photo Booth was installed where students captured permanent proof of their college friendships, along with a fun Mirror Photobooth that encouraged students to take creative mirror selfies with their friend groups.
A “C’mon Superman” Board was also set up as an interactive attraction, where students penned down thoughtful messages about friendship and jotted down the names of their friends.
As a step further, a Virtual Photo Booth was introduced through the official Campus Life website. Students uploaded their friendship photographs online after scanning QR codes placed near the Physical photobooth. The photos uploaded were used to create a Photo Globe on the website that allowed everyone participating to share their photos publicly and commemorate their memories.
All across campus, QR codes were placed that upon scanning allowed people to attempt a special Friendship Day Quiz on the Campus Life website. Students created unique personalised quizzes by choosing questions already available or writing their own, which they would share with their friends to see how well their friends knew them. The website also featured a fun leaderboard, with rankings based on how many participants attempted each quiz.
To hear more from students, CL Talkies conducted fun interviews in college during break, lunch and after 3:45 PM. Students shared their thoughts on friendship, memorable experiences, and answered light-hearted questions, adding an entertaining and engaging element to the event.
The Friendship Day 2026 celebration was a grand success, and witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across different departments. The thoughtfully arranged activities and interactive booths made Friendship Day 2026 a memorable occasion, fostering stronger friendships and creating joyful memories for everyone on campus.
