The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Easwari Engineering College organized an insightful guest lecture on “Empowering Women in Mechanical Engineering: Breaking Barriers & Shaping the Future” on March 25, 2025. The session was specifically designed for female mechanical engineering students and was conducted by G.V. Kavya, Associate Project Engineer at Hitachi Energy.
The session highlighted the growing opportunities for women in mechanical engineering and the importance of diversity in the field. The speaker also addressed the stereotypes and misconceptions about women pursuing careers in mechanical engineering
