The Department of Information Technology, Easwari Engineering College, in association with TVSnext and TechSaavy Club, organized the DEV ARENA – TVSnext Powered 24 Hours Hackathon. The event brought together over 400 participants from reputed institutions across India, including Amrita Coimbatore, SSN, St. Joseph’s, and Chennai Institute of Technology. The hackathon commenced with the Lamp Lighting Ceremony, marking the beginning of an exciting 24-hour journey of innovation, collaboration, and problem-solving. Participants worked on real-world use cases provided by TVSnext, developing creative solutions under the guidance of mentors and industry experts. The event also featured engaging recreational activities such as indoor games and a lively flashmob performance, ensuring a balance of productivity and enjoyment throughout the night. On the second day, projects were evaluated by experts from TVSnext based on innovation, feasibility, and technical execution. The valedictory ceremony was graced by Ms. Rupa M, Associate Vice President – Data & AI at TVSnext, who delivered an inspiring address emphasizing creativity, teamwork, and continuous learning. The hackathon concluded with the announcement of winners and distribution of cash prizes. The session enabled participants to gain valuable real-world exposure, enhance their technical skills, and experience the spirit of teamwork and innovation in action.
