Department of Information Technology at Easwari Engineering College a Guest Lecture on “Data behind the Scenes & Its Evolution” Organized by Student Assocation on October 22nd , 2024*✨The session was led by Mr. Gokul Palani, Consulting CTO & Data Practice Head, who shared his immense expertise on data and its transformation in today’s digital landscape. He emphasized the increasing significance of data management and analytics, especially in regulated sectors like banking, which invest heavily in protecting their information. Topics covered included the importance of understanding data storage technologies, the emergence of big data, and strategies for addressing challenges such as data privacy and security risks. Additionally, he highlighted the value of hands-on projects for beginners and encouraged students to adopt an analytical mindset to effectively confront data-related issues. The session inspired II Year IT students to explore innovative data solutions and engage in proactive learning, helping them gain a clearer understanding of the data domain.
