To meet the wide range of challenging and rapidly growing global demands for professional education, the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering was established since the inception of the college in 1996. The department has secured permanent affiliation from Anna University and is accredited by NBA. In pursuit of excellence, the department is recognized as a nodal centre by Anna University to pursue Ph.D. in the areas relevant to Electronics and Communication. The department has been sanctioned with a P.G. course on M.E. Communication Systems.
B.E. Electronics and Communication Engineers is 4 years Under Graduate course. The department is ISO 9001:2008 certified, accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) for 3 years valid upto June 2023.

I am feeling really proud that Easwari Engineering College is marking silver jubilee milestone this year. It’s a privilege as a student of Easwari Engineering College in the department of Electronics and Communication Engineering. I started B.E (ECE) in 2015and once I completed it I realized that my department and college laid a very strong foundation to my technical and professional life. This was all because of my very talented and experienced ever faculty. Later, I joined for post-graduation in Data Science Engineering at Great Lakes Institute of Management. I am glad that I had invested 4 years of my life in a very prestigious institution that gave a kickstart in my career. Now I am placed at Genpact as Data Engineer. The college and the faculty have helped me all through the early ages of my career growth and still continued to do so
Easwari Engineering College is one of the best institutions in Chennai which has given me the best platform for my career. The department and professors helped me to develop my skills and helped me gain proper knowledge to become a competent individual. Both curricular and co-curricular activities and the support from EEC has helped me a lot to develop my skills. The faculties are very kind and approachable when any need arises. Infrastructure is really good and sufficient. There were many replacement’s activities which were highly effective and useful for us to have a clear idea on facing interviews. It guarantees placements as well to every competent student. I got placed in 2 companies, TCS and Maverick. I thank Easwari Engineering College for providing me an opportunity to be an Alumni of both UG (B.E -ECE) and PG (Communication Systems). Well -disciplined Environment, Good infrastructure and experienced faculty members made me to join Easwari Engineering College to pursue my Post Graduation_M. E_Communication Systems. Guidance, motivation, and opportunity are the important things which each and every student need to associate along with hard work to excel in their career. These aspects helped me to secure University rank (5th Anna University rank with 9.03 CGPA) and to be a ECE department topper. After completing my Post Graduation, I got an opportunity to work with the same Institution. It was a good opportunity provided for me to work with my Institution. Being a student at the college and becoming a faculty in that college is a blessed moment for me. As a faculty, I feel that “How much responsibility is with each Faculty” to make each student to shine in their future. I am feeling really proud to be a student of Easwari engineering college in the department of ECE. I started my BE (ECE) in 2009 and once I complete it, I was not ready to depart the college which laid a foundation to my technical knowledge, with its very own talented and experienced ECE staffs. Then, I started my Masters in Embedded systems engineering here, which runs under the same department. I was placed in TCS during my on-campus interview. I am happy that I had 6 years of my educative life in the same campus. Now, I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Systems engineering in Brunei Darussalam, awarded with the international student scholarship and has published 7 research articles in various international journals. I would persistently say that this position of mine is mainly due to my college as well as my department staffs who stood as a foundation to my growth. Since, I was there in the department for 6 years, I almost got to attend every faculty’s class and each one is unique in delivering his/her ideas. It is always a pleasure to rethink of my days in Easwari.
