OVERVIEW:
The Industrial Visit was organized by Department of Civil Engineering, for 2nd& 3rdyear students of Easwari Engineering College. Dr.M.Siva, Assistant professor, YUGA club coordinator went for the visit along with students
INTRODUCTION:
The main objective is to visualize and acquire knowledge about various Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) achieved in kuthambakkam village by R Elango sir.
ABOUT KUTHAMBAKKAM VILLAGE:
Mr. R Elango sir, a Dalit leadermade the systems to work well and improved the economy of his village. During the first five years, he made a lot of transformation in the village, including creating opportunities for employment generation and education. During his second term, he completed all the unfinished works and placed his village in the Indian map as a Model village.
Conclusion:
The industrial visit was very useful for usin understanding the various 17 Sustainable Development Goals. R Elango sir’s inspirational words motivated the students to join him in developing other villages for education and employment opportunities.
